Introducing… Dr Elizabeth Babatunde

Drumroll please DUH DUH DAH

… Dr Elizabeth Babatunde; Author and Publisher

There are many words that I would use to describe myself.  I have recently bought some cheap and nice business cards from which have on it

‘Dr Elizabeth Babatunde

Writer, Speaker, Teacher.’

However over the last few months, these tags have changed.  I’m no longer just a medical doctor, a company director, a writer of poems and notes, a motivational speaker, a youth teacher and mentor amongst many things.  I am now also an author with my own self publishing company.

Somebody asked me today, “why are you doing all this; writing and publishing a book, when you have such a demanding job working full time as a doctor?”

I answered, “that’s simple.

Firstly I have a talent for writing and I want to utilise it to the glory of God who gave it to me.

Secondly and most importantly, I know I have a message for someone out there who needs to overcome the fears that are holding them back.

I do not want to be limited by what I do and let it define who I am.

I am passionate about being a doctor because I want to help those who are sick and encourage people to lead healthy lives.

However it is that same passion that creates a longing in me to enable and empower people in achieving divine health in all areas of their lives not just physically but emotionally and spiritually.”

Ultimately, all those words above are just tags.  They do not define who I am but show what I am able to do in Christ.  So you all better watch this space because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and so can you.

Who knows, my next business card might say something like;

‘Dr Elizabeth Babatunde

Writer, Speaker, Teacher, Author, Publisher, Pilot, First woman to walk on Mars.’

Don’t just laugh, have faith; God is a God of possibilities 😉

May God bless and keep you in His presence forever, Amen

Dr Elizabeth F Babatunde

  1. Elizabeth,
I have been reading your devotional through uversion since January of this year. I have been continually encouraged, inspired, convicted, and challenged and I want to thank you for being the catalyst for such a wonderful time of devotion over these last few months. I look forward to my daily taste of Spirit filled nourishment for my soul.

  2. Thank you so very much in your obedience to Christ for this devotional book. It opened my eyes to new things and ways to help my friends and family. I truly wished I had discovered this book while I was in Iraq.
